Jo-Jo

We had a special visit from Officer Neal, a Banks County police officer,  and his drug dog  Jo-Jo.  He told us about Jo-Jo's job and showed us a few of his "tricks".  The very coolest one was when he hid a cotton pad that smelled like the training agent in a filing cabinet drawer.  Jo-Jo searched our room and found the pad. He lets his human partner know he's found it by sitting down and looking at him.  Jo-Jo's reward for finding drugs is to get to play with his toy.  He's a little obsessed with it!!

Mrs. Whitlock

Every other week we go to Mrs. Whitlock's room for a fun lesson.  She is our awesome school counselor.  Our last lesson was on how each of us are special.  Mrs. Whitlock usually has a puppet to help tell her story. Sometimes she even brings real animals!
