We had an AWESOME day! Thanks to all those who came out to show off their stuff. I tried to capture the day with photos as best I could.
We began the day by reading The Little Red Hen and making bread in a bag. I didn't get pics of the kids actually making the bread, but here are the loaves ready to rise. |

The great egg in a bottle experiment. The theory is that by heating the air inside the bottle a vacuum is created. The egg is sucked down into the bottle without damaging it. |
But....we had a difficult time getting the fire to stay lit long enough to heat the air in the bottle. |
